Hiding tasks

Ability to remove projects from P3 screen without impacting reporting (i.e.
hide feature)

If someone who has assigned time to a particular project HIDES the project
and task/s in P3 and a report is run using Resource Report URL in PWA the
user and the time they have assigned will not appear in the report.

The time does however show in Portfolio Analyser.

2 questions about this.

1) How can we stop this from happening
2) In order to hide tasks from a users timesheet I understand that I could
change time from 'committed' to 'proposed' for tasks they are no longer
assigned to but will this also remove them from the report?

Hiding a task in PWA does not affect reporting unless the user hid the task
before reporting all actual time spent.

To remove a task from the timesheet, make sure that Remaining Work is set to
zero for the task if all work was completed in less time than planned. If all
work for a specific resource is completed, zero Remaing Work in the Task
Usage view in Pro for the resource. Completed tasks are automatically removed
from the timesheet (except for Admin projects).

Changing a person's booking type from Committed to Proposed and then
republishing assignments will remove all tasks from timesheets for that
person. Booking Type is at the project level; not the task level. All actual
time previously reported will still be picked up by Portfolio Analyzer
(unless you filter on booking type).

Thanks for this Rick, this works perfectly for my second issue, how about the
first issue where users hide tasks themselves (in their timesheet) and they
have time booked - this seems to disappear from the report?
