hierarchical pull-down selection menus

I've already created pull-down menus from a given list of product, so
that the user doesn't have to input a part number manually each time,
but I want to add more detail to the data list. I'd like to add
categories to contain the part numbers. Is there any way to create
and display hierarchical menus using data validation, as you would a
regular list?
