Highest settings/quality for wmv file?

I need to have a few short video clips digitized for use in a
presentation. I need the highest quality possible, want to play the
videos at full screen and want to ensure that they can be played across
multiple PCs. I've decided on WMVs (right choice so far?). I need to
tell my client what format to provide the videos in and how to digitize
them from beta originals, so my questions are: what are the settings
and can WMVs be made at full screen (whenever I am given a video file,
it never comes in at full screen and I always have to resize it). Size
of the ultimate files is not a big issue--I'm much more concerned with
getting the crispest video possible.

Hope somebody can help and maybe point me in the direction of more
info. Thanks!

Camno,

If you run your presentation at 1024x768 pixels,

then ask for the video to be encoded at the same size if filesize is not an
issue for you.

Whether a massive file will play ok in powerpoint is another thing!

Your best bet is to come to a compromise about the quality and filesize.

If you think of MPEG1 as a good starting point
