Hi,
I'm trying to improve my productivity with outlook. What I need is to
highlight parts of inbox message text directly from message pane.
My workflow:
1. Mail arrive to my inbox, and I read it.
2. Mark important message with follow up flag, with date to be
completed.
3. Select iportant parts of mail text (such mails are often long, like
2-20 pages in word), and highligt it with colors like in word or like
in messages I'm sending to others.
4. After 5 days when I'm going to solve the issue I can only go trough
highlighted texts, and not read all the message again to find
important parts.
Workaround: Message can be opened, then start edit, highlight, and
save&close. As you can see this is very far from productivity.
Why not to use notes: I don't want to write my notes, only highlight
text. If I have to create note from important parts of the email, it's
the same as solving the issue right on the place, and take far too
much time.
I didnt find any extension or anything how to make it as I want, and
I'm really disappointed that such a simple action can't be easily
performed in such big and fatty mail client as outlook is. There must
be a way!
Thanks for your advices.
