highlighted box

When I created a box around text and shade it everything seems okay. When I
insert a page moving the original down, I get the shaded area on the blank
page. I have tried cover page, blank page and page break but I get the same
result. I do not want the highligted area on the new page. If I remove the
shade it removes the shade from the origianl page which is now page 2?

Any suggestions please

Have you tried just removing the formatting from the new paragraphs on your
new empty page?

Somehow I brought the second page up to the first and the formatting
combined and I was able to put in a new blank page.
