Highlighting a specific record

Using Access 2003,

I'm currently using a form that displays records in a horizontal row
fashion. I have a transparent button overlaying all the records that opens a
record-specific popup when you double click it. I would like the entire
record to be "highlighted" with a single click to show the user what record
they're on. Is this possible? Is there a better way of going about all this?

The very simplest way to identify the selected row is to set the form's
RecordSelectors property to Yes. The selected row then has a triangle
pointer at the left of the record.

Allen,

I'm actually using conditional formatting now. I thought there might be a
"cleaner" way of doing it. Some activex control or something I was missing.
