Highlighting and file sizes - revisited

I'm comvinced this is Onenote related because the problem does not exist with
Journal.

Basiclly what happens is, if you print to a PDF file or Journal Note
writer from Onenote, the file size is much, much larger if you have done any
highlighting with the Pen Highlighter. Can increase file size from a few K
to over a Meg.

See comments from prior post below. Still looking for a solution....

Hi Danny,

This is Lin from OneNote.
Can you give me more information on the problem you are seeing such as
version of OneNote, PDF print driver, sample files of the .one and print-out
files?
This will help us investigating the problem.

Thanks,
Lin

Lin,

You should be able to produce this problem with just Onenote and Journal
Note Writer. It is not pdf specific. I use Acrobat Distiller 5.0.

I have Onenote w/SP1 and XP SP2 on my Toshiba m200 tablet PC.

I can supply example files if you tell me were to send.

Hi Danny,

We are investigating this issue now. Meanwhile, if your answers are inked
text, you can select the answers and apply text highlight (Formatting
toolbar -> Highlight). The result Windows Journal file size does not
increase significantly.

Thanks,
Lin
