Highlighting problems

I had an assignment in class that was 10 questions I had
to answer about my environment where I intern. Some of
the answers I knew off the top of my head. So I wrote all
the questions in onenote and left big spaces between the
questions so I could add more information as i came across
it. I had highlighted some of the important parts of the
questions also.

Well when I started writing in the big gaps between the
questions it makes the area slightly bigger (sort of like
adding space around the words I wrote on my Tablet) moving
all my text down on the page. The problem is my
highlights on the specific text did not move with it. So
now I have highlighted parts that are just in odd places
not even near the text I originally highlighted.

This is a big problem for me. Anyone know why this
happens or how it can be fixed?

I had considered making what I wrote an image (like when
you insert something into onenote) so I could just write
on top of the image, but I could not figure out a way to
do that either.

I'm running into major problems using OneNote as a note
taking tool and will have to ditch it and try other
programs if I can't find some work arounds.

Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Courtney
