While in my oulook email client (2000) I reply to a message, and the
message window is completely sized way down, about the size of a PDA
screen. I've changed it back multple times. Usually it holds. But
sometimes, it goes back for no reason.

Could someone be reading my email with a treo or palm using OMA at
the same time, messing up my windows sizes as i'm vewing it at on my
local PC using outlook? I dont' own one, and never used the treo mail
client to view outlook messages to test it.

I've tested with regular MS outlook web access and sizing windows. I
then go into the outlook client and the messages window sizes are not
changed. But i'm wondering if the treo OMA outlook client does this?

No, it doesn't. Web based and OMA clients have no effect on the full client
window sizes.

To be honest, this is one of the Windows/Outlook pains that you're not going
to work around (tho I think it might happen less in newer versions, or, at
least, I haven't seen it in 2k3 or 2k7 in recent memory). Like you say,
usually it is fixed. Sometimes, tho, it reverts. It likely has to do with
other applications running on the system, especially anything that may have
a modal dialog box open which forces the software that helps control window
sizes to try to figure out how to build a new window.

Could you verify for me that the treo OMA client DOES infact change
the message window size when you reply to a message in full version
outlook and someone is in it reading your mail with a palm device
using OMA??

No, I can not verify that.

It does *not* change a single thing on your desktop.

OMA has no knowledge of Outlook, and the reverse is true as well.

It is *only* a quirk. However, if you are paranoid enough to think that
someone is reading your mail via OMA, then a) Change your password. b)
Why would you believe me when I say that OMA doesn't affect Outlook window
sizes? After all, I might be the person reading your email.

It is a quirk that happens in Off 2000. Happens a few times on one of my machines that 2000 is installed

Like F H said it has not happened to me neither with Off2003 and 2007. Must be fixed. I would really not worry about it being your PDA
