Hindi Excel Document

I am trying to open a document in Hindi in Excel; however, the characters appear as a jumble of roman characters - can excel open Hindi fonts?

Do you have any Hindi fonts installed on your Mac? Excel can't use what
isn't there :) Depending on the source it's also possible that the specific
font used in the file may not map correctly to whatever Hindi fonts you do
have.
