Hiperlink problems

V

Victor From Brazil

Im having some problems while using an hiperlink to a website or a program.
When i activate the hiperlink it shows me an advice asking for a probably
virus risk or cumputer complications.
For sure it will make the viewers of my presentation close it as fast as
possible.

How could i disable this kind of advice on my presentations, or turn it into
another message?

Thanks
Victor

*Sorry for my poor english

Sorry, you can't change it. It's just he way PowerPoint is written.

If you are distributing the presentation on CD's, then an option that will
get rid of these messages is to turn the clock back to 1997. We can use
'primal technology' as a work-around this 2003 'feature'.

You can make the presentation compatible with the old PowerPoint viewer and
include it on the CD. The old viewer is based on PowerPoint 97, so many
animations and transitions were not available. While this will not be as
fancy as PowerPoint 2000. 2002, or 2003 presentations; it won't make your
customers run away screaming in fear of a virus.
