HIRE ME YOU need A LINEAR LOGIC BASED HUMAN to OFFSET the ALIENS.

G

gtv_john

I am sitting here nearly disemboweled again by Outlook, or Outhouse as we
like to fondly call it here at the WORLD's Largest Office Furniture Mfg.,
trying to fathom why it would do odd-ball things like it does? One time the
it follow a process, and the very same mouse clicks it follows a completely
different process methode.
It might have up to 5 different results for the same clikcs, highlight
commands for exactly the same sequence of key stroke/clicks.
I can only attribute this fuzzy logic protocol, or actually, no linear
protocol at all, to alien life forms that must inhabit the elf dale IT of
MicroSoft?

I see this in every website where un-linked links don't follow a path, or
lead to totally unexpected unlogical point results, or are actual a wong
ending loop links that poor client/cutomer can't resolve or extracate
themselves from ...but hey these are MS products -should be totally
fulfilled, tested & scrubbed to perfect and work like unto a Swiss Watch, ja?

You at MS need to have on board a logic based linear flow efficiency expert
process engineer group to 1. find the intent result of action, 2. make sure
that makes sense, 3. get the cutomer to the result they want, but not at the
twisted behest of some geko robot logic, which is a fine thing to have, but
only when it applies to code and doesn't cross-over into the world of human
customer service as to what makes sense to actual people users? Those guys in
IT have no idea 'HOW' things should happen or sequence that makes sense in a
normal sense, but totally know how to write to get to results that they
should be DIRECTED to get to?

If your email works, mail me, or Call me; furniture buiz ist slowing and
after 31 years, needs new horizons to make perfect. If you email me, please
to use some larger font than this elf sized font, and use something really
expensive like html instead of the Walmart cost rtf like this must be, where
your customers can't read anything, and the dyslexics like mein self the
auto-speel czech doesn't work?

Please give us an example of the same sequence of actions leading to 5
different results.
(otherwise we must attribute this problem to human error)

What makes you think that posting in these newsgroups is posting to
Microsoft? It's not. We all here are just users like yourself.

The "elf-sized font" is likely your own doing. I suspect you're using Word
as the mail editor and have your Zoom setting too low.
and use something really
expensive like html instead of the Walmart cost rtf like this must be,
where
your customers can't read anything,

Many (most?) of us DO use HTML because we correspond with people not using
Outlook and only other Outlook users can properly receive Rich Text. What
format you use is completely under YOUR control. Microsoft can't click your
mouse and press your keys for you.
and the dyslexics like mein self the auto-speel czech doesn't work?

No spell checker can detect words that are misspelled in such a way as to
match the (correct) spelling of another word. No spell checker, no matter
who makes it, can tell that when you type "deer fiend" you actually meant to
type "dear friend".

Ok, I think you've been challenged enough already by other posters to
clarify your outings, so I won't reply on that anymore.

I can help you with this remark though;
and the dyslexics like mein self the auto-speel czech doesn't work?

A friend of mine is dyslectic too and indeed, often, a simple spell check
won't help you with that as Brian indicated. There are specialized tools to
help you with that but I'm not sure if they are available in your language
too. A thing that really worked for my friend was using a Tablet PC where he
could use a pen as a replacement for a keyboard which basically works on
word recognition. He also uses the Speech to Text feature a lot where he
just dictates to a text processing application. This reduced his amount of
mistakes considerably or are not there at all anymore. It also helped him
with recognizing words and even recognizing his own mistakes.

Anyway, we go off-topic for this newsgroup now but using generic software
for a specialized issue is hardly ever going to work.

outlook 2007 with grammar check enabled flags this - it misses some things
but helps overall. But it also keeps wanting to change your to you're. :)

Thanks deer, for the kind but so very ninga masta foolish reply. Tough to
relate to real human metrics on such a plebian level yes?

EG: When just addressing a note in Outlook, I type the letter j in the to
field, I get the handy drop-dwn and see that an old email is on the list
select that one to hit delete, and boom the whole of those on that drop dwn
are gone...seconds later I do another letter to get drop dwn, another obs
address and sel and hit delete and just it dissapears from this dimension.
Again, type that same letter and slide down to completely delete obs address
for long gone human that worked here, sel, and wow, that address is now in
the "to" field. Go figure.

MS: the declarative statement "you at MS" means a message to those at
MicroSoft, but also for readers (your) info is a side benefit included in
statement. Yeah I know you are a user.

elf font: it is indubitably mein own doing; I also have athesia dimming of
vision; but when I go to this page:
https://www.microsoft.com/office/co...70fe&catlist=&dglist=&ptlist=&exp=&sloc=en-us
, and then type in the text box provided, in the ONLY font I can see
available ist 3.7 or so, far below the 12 pt bold, veranda in teal, I'm at
comfort (80% seeing) level. I deleted WORD program immediately after having
IT load the 2007 office pro on my machine becuase that too is unusable. So I
am not using WORD to edit email.

FLOORMAT: And ja, I know this not html, that was the point of comment, this
txt bx ist not my email, have nein control over it, and so it is what it is,
when I am using it to make pressure relief statement-cry-for-human kind
help...Not my format, but MS's? or should I repeat that?..and thank goodness
MS can't click my mouse for me, they can't their own? (see Vista). The only
zoom I ever get is when I drop my GTV6 into 4th and punch it.

SPL CZ: I do go back to outlook to type in a word to use spell check when
using some proprietary thing like this text box, where there is none and then
copy it back in.
Nice tip Brian, to dyslexial brains about "deer" and 'dear', that is stuff
we will treasure; you must volunteer at the SS youth camp next summer with
that vast storehouse of empathy? (This is what humans call humor, wrap your
arms around it) Ha ..lighten up Mein Ninga.

...so I am stuck with outlook to Communicate with the vast 14k eemployees
here working world wide. Thanks again, nice juxtapositioning of your comments
out of order to my text. Best regards.

On your PC, perhaps, but not on any other, that I've seen or have had
reported.

I've never encountered behavior of that sort. Outlook's behavior is always
consistent for me. I may disagree with the choices made by the designers,
but Outlook always behaves the same way for the the same input.

In the text of the comment the subject of that point was the text box on the
help page.
Re: "If you email me, please

The 'this' is exactly what it referes to, the tiny angstrom high font of the
help pg text box the original commentit is written, not OUTHOUSe, where I
mention I use a perfectly comfortable 12 pt bold vendana.
I always assume the reader's ability to read for content, not what the
reader think may be there. ..bad habit of mine.
Have a Merry Christmas und ein glückliches neues Jahr!
