What are the capabilities of Groove to keep workspace logs of chat and
discussions. Are they searchable, can you limit who can see the logs, can
you archive them, where are they stored for viewing, can they be archived on
a schedule?

Hi John -

Groove has an audit server which (if enabled) maintains a centralised log of
what goes on in Groove spaces. If you're running your own Groove Relay
Servers, this is configurable as an system administrator option.

The information is pulled out of Groove and stored in (I believe) SQL
Server, so it is searchable.

I've not checked if this functionality is still available on Groove 2007.

Thanks Mark, would the server be able to be searched by all users, and would
it be able to do searches across workspaces?
