Hit Counter Question

This is really a BS, piddly problem but I thought I'd ask ...

I'm using FP2003 and I have one of those FP web-bot hit couners on a page.
Something screwed up and the counter started over a zero 0. I would like to
reset the counter, and there is a reset counter input location but it
doesn't reset.

..... any ideas why it won't reset.

Like I said, this is a piddly problem!!

Thanks in advance for any help.

Look in the _private directory of the published site. You should find a file
there that has the exact same name as the page that has the hit counter in
it but it ends with a .cnt extension. This holds the number for the hit
counter. Change this number to what you want, but be careful to include the
same number of digits that are used.

Hope this helps
