My hit counter quit working. I notice that fpcount.exe is supposed to be in
the _vti_bin folder. I don't have such a folder and can not create one.

Have your host reinstall the server extensions - the _vti_bin folder is used
and created by Frontpage, and if you published by HTTP then that folder
would have been transferred - normally it is a hidden file.

FYI: The _vti folders are never published between web servers.
