Hitting F5 on Excel Add In project open Excel but does nothing.

I am new to Office programming. I installed VSTO 2005 SE and created an Excel
Add In project. Whenever I hit F5, it opens Excel but it does nothing. I
tried a breakpoint in ThisAddIn_Start procedure,but it doesn't seem to hit
it. My machine has VS 2005 Professional, VS 2008 Standard Edition, Office
2003 Basic Edition installed.

Did I miss something else that I need to set?

Hello!

For Office 2003 try looking under Help menu, for About button and then in
the lower right corner the button "Disabled items". See if your add-in was
disabled by office. If so, then it means something missleaded the addin to be
loaded.

When the addin causes the office to crash, it will be automatically disabled.
