Could someone please tell me the importance or the usefulness of this
Application named 'hkcmd.exe'? And I want to know if I can disable it on my
PC without causing any problem to the operations of my system.

Its HotKey Command for Intel multimedia hardware.
On your key board if you have any hotkeys (on the very top or front) to
open, pause, play, close multimedia applications, this executable runs when
you press these keys. I uninstalled the one on my machine, and never got a
problem. Just that hotKeys won't work. As of today no known virus has been
found that rusn by this name.
