Hi

I have an option box (2 option boxes).

The option box is (Yes / No).

It is automatic set to yes or no based on something else.

(Until here no problem)

Now, how can I prevent the end user from changing the contents of this box, there is no option to make this box read only, why? Or maybe there is but I can't find it, is there?

Are you talking about an Option Button? If so, you can use Conditional Formatting to disable the control. Having an Option Button read only isn't terribly productive for several reasons, but what you are trying to do should be available through Conditional Formatting.

Where are the controls standards? Shouldn't be there something like each controls can be enabled, disabled, read only, or hidden, and an option there on the options dialogs for each control?

I used conditional formatting, and the control become disabled; but the control must not disabled, it's alive, it changes it's value automatically, just the user must not be able to change it (read only)

And even if it's disabled on the screen, it must not be printed disabled on the printer.

I have started converting everything to text boxes just because they can be read only, it looks to me that it's becoming from a "Descent Form", to a "Form Lasagna" :)
