it's generally better to ask your question in the big white question box,
rather than in the Subject line...but, at any rate, the answer is: you
DON'T. see http://www.mvps.org/access/lookupfields.htm for an explanation of
why not. you should not be entering data directly into tables, anyway.
that's what forms are for. in a form, you can use a combo box *control* to
display a droplist. it's easy enough to build using a wizard, in form design
view.
