Hoe do I now e mail message was sent. It doen's show in my sent

I sent a e mail message from the new word 2007. The person did not get it.
How do I know it was sent? What happened to it.

Is it in your sent folder? If not, it was not sent. Its hard to say what
happened - most likely it got picked up by an overactive spam filter.
