I have a report set up a lot like the Northwinds Invoice database. The report
is grouped by 'Quotation No' and that group has both a header and a footer.
In between that group header and footer, there is a detail section designed
basically like a spreadsheet. In its current format, the terms of the quote,
signature area, etc. are in the 'Quotation No' footer. This makes that
information move up and down the page depending on how much data is entered
into the detail section.
What I would like to figure out is a way to keep that information a the
bottom of the page. I have tried placing the informatino in the page footer
section. That works, but if there is not suffcient data in the detail section
to fill the page there is a large blank space between the entry and the
terms. This would be fine if I could continue the lines down the page, but I
cannot figure out how. In the detail section, 'Description,' 'Quantity,' and
'Price Per' are all seprated and bounded by vertical lines. There is a
horizontal line after all the entries have been entered (I currently have
this line located at the top of the 'Quotation No' footer. If there is a
simle way to carry these lines down the page even whn there is no data in the
detail section, that would solve my problem.
