Hold the line

When drawing a "line" in a document (not in a table), while it shows
in the document that is being worked on, it does not show in the print
preview and it does not print. Have followed all steps provided in
the help menu with no luck. Anyone able to help????

Thanks

Do the steps you've followed include checking Word> Preferences> Print to
make sure the box is checked for Drawings (may be Drawing Objects - not at a
Mac to verify)?

If that isn't the issue make sure your printer is set to print at its
highest resolution, as well as any other printer settings that may pertain.
If it doesn't show up in Print Preview it means that the printer isn't
seeing it or can't create it because its "too thin" - especially for line
thicknesses of less than 1 pt.

I was going to suggest:
Preferences È Print (Include with Documents : drawing objects)
but when I tested it, Word just didn't care. For me it showed the line
regardless of that setting. Try it anyway, then come back with more
detail. Word version, and the steps you followed to insert the line.
