Holiday Wishes from Mary Sauer ...

M

Mary Sauer

Hello All,

This is just a quick note from Mary Sauer's son wishing all of you a Happy Holiday
Season. My mom will be back on line in a few days. She was taken to the Cardiac Unit
of a Columbus Hospital Friday Evening. It seems that she might have had a minor (in
that word can be used) heart attack. She was in ICU all day Saturday and everything
stabilized and was moved out into a regular room Sunday. She will undergo a procedure
today in. Not sure which one yet, some sort of coronary intervention.

I want everyone to know that she has all of you in her thoughts. She wanted me to get
on line and express her regrets that she has not been on line helping. Being on line
and communication with all of you is what she loves to do. Looking forward to getting
back here is one of the driving forces that is helping her toward recovery. She
should be back on line by the end of the week if everything works out the way the
doctors and all of us expect.

Again, we at the Sauer family wish all of you a happy and healthy holiday season. (We
would not wish the holiday season we had onto anyone ... ;o)

George,

The last thing she needs to worry about now is helping others. Not sure
what the diagnosis was or the procedure will be but it sounds like maybe
a stent. My aunt had one done when she was in her middle 60's - that was
close to 15 years ago.

On another note, I'm surprised she didn't demand you bring a laptop to
her hospital room.

She will be in all our prayers.

I am back. A little less of me. I have a zillion pills to take.

I appreciate all of your kind comments. They mean a lot to me.

Scary stuff.

Christmas is not fun in the hospital.

My husband takes a bunch of meds too but life continues - and that's the
best thing. He had his heart attack (also "minor") in August 2003 and he's
been fine ever since.

Glad to hear you are back. Hope you continue to get better.

I was away at the beach in North Queensland all the time you were away.
