Home Office and Student Service Pack 1

I purchase the Home Office and Student edition and download (I think) the new
service pack for it. How can I tell it was installed on the program or the
Computer?

Open Word 2007.
Click on the Office Icon {upper left} and then click on Word Options {lower
Right}.
At the bottom of the list, select Resources.
At the bottom of the Resources list is About Microsoft Word 2007. If SP-1 is
installed, it will be listed below the About line or click on About button
for the same information.

Similiar in other Office 2007 applications except OneNote 2007. In OneNote
2007, select About from the Help menu.

If SP-1 is installed in one your Office 2007 applications, it will be
installed in all other Office 2007 application that you had installed when
you installed SP-1.
