Home page links

I have just got round to trying to build a web site after having FP 2000 on my PC for years and already have a problem when setting up Shared Borders. I don't get the links on the Home page but are OK on subsequent pages. In page view there is a message beneath the Title " [Edit the properties for this Navigation Bar to display hyperlinks here]"
How do I create the links?

Make sure your home page file name is the same as that required by your host
- and in navigation view that page must have the home page icon in it

In addition to Stefan's remarks, check that the link bar properties
(right click on the link bar or error message and choose link bar
properties) is not set to Same Level - for the home page this will only
show the home page.
Using Children under Home plus Home page will show all pages on the
level immediately under the home page, plus the Home page.
