When I take a web that works OK on a Windows based server with FP
extensions, then publish it to a Linux-based host with FP extensions, FP
2003 (of course), renames default.htm to index.html. When I view the new
home page in a browser, I don't get the banner or some of the menus, and FP
tells me to include the page in the navigation structure to include banners,
menus etc., just as it does for a Windows host. So I deleted the old Home
page from the navigation structure, meaning to add the new (index.html),
which appeared to work, but then I recalculated the web from FP, and the
main part of the navigation structure disappeared, which was not undoable.
What should I have done to make a seamless publish to a Linux host?
Any help, advice etc. gratefully received and acknowledged.
