Hi,

I'm as green as it gets on this :

I've started compiling a web page from the Home Page
starter, and the first thing I wanted to know is if I can
Google search the web and find my page. Using unusual words
to cut down the return I get zero response. Are these Home
Page creations outside the scope of search engines?

I'm not sure what, if anything this has to do with the topic of the
newsgroup, i.e., Microsoft Excel for Macintosh, but...

How long has your page been up? Google generally takes one to two months
to find your site. You can speed this up a bit:

http://www.google.com/webmasters/1.html
