Home Use Program - What happens after termination of employment?

Rob

I'm considering purchasing Office Enterprise 2007 from the "Home Use Program"
offered by my company. There's a statement on the purchase page which says
something to the effect that if I terminate employment, the license for this
product is no longer valid. My question is, do i need to voluntarily
uninstall the program when I terminate employment from my employer, or will
the program know to become invalid somehow, like if my company gives them a
periodic list of employees eligible for the Home Use Program?

Correct, your license is "owned" by your employer, IF you are no longer
employed by them, you right to use the license is "forfeit". No they
don't send the software police around to rip it off the machine, but if
something happened to the copy you may have problems getting it to
reinstall.
