homepage graphics on other pages

Ok, so I downloaded a webpage layout off the internet. It works fine. I
want to use it for my home page and the pages it links to. The layout works
fine on the homepage, but whenever I try to use the same layout on the
"daughter" pages, some of the graphics goes missing. Example- the layout had
a flowery design in a corner with a blue background. if I tried that layout
on a daughter page, the flowery design would be gone; there'd just be a blue
background there.

Am I being dumb somehow?

What's the URL so we can take a look? Are the child pages in the same
folder? It could just be that you need to fix the relative path to the
images. For example, one page might be image/pic.gif and pages in sub
folders would change to ../images/pic.gif etc
