I am taking Advanced Excel at my local college. We are doing a worksheet
that has a map of the United States on it, with all the states divided. I
cannot find anything in my Excel 2003 that shows me where there are maps.
When I ask my Excel program it gives me something entirely different.

We are graphing a chart for sales in regions of the U.S. I cannot download
it from my school comps. I have to have the program on my comp to do the
work at home. Where do I go to find it????? I have to have this work done
by Nov. 8.

Thank you for all your help.

Newer Excel versions 2002 and 2003 interact with Microsoft MapPoint, which
must be purchased.

Excel 2000: Insert>Object>MicrosoftMap (you may need to revisit your Office
installation if Microsoft Map is not an option)

Excel 2002 + higher: MicrosoftMap is no longer part of Office. It is now a
separate program, requiring a separate purchase. You can not create new
maps in Excel without MicrosoftMap but you can (supposedly) open files that
already have maps in them.

For something "official" & printble from Microsoft for Office XP (and I
assume Office 2003) on the subject:
