Hoover Button Problem

J

Jeff

Running FP2002 w/Current Server Extension on a current SP
Win2K server.
A few site browsers have reported that they are not able
to use the Hoover buttons on my page. "Displayed as a
white box" or "No action on a mouse click". One user is
using XP Home with current SP's. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Many users of Windows XP, IE6 and NS6 and up do not have a Java Virtual
Machine (JVM) Installed, so they are not able to run any Java applets, such
as the FP Hover button and FP Banner Ad Manager. Best to avoid using and if
you must have this type of functionality, look into using JavaScript.

I have noticed that on this forum, Hover gets spelled Hoover almost as often
as Calendar gets spelled Calender

In FP 2002, insert the image you want to be the regular button when the
mouse is off.

Select the image.

Go to View, then Toolbars, then DHTML Effects.

A new window come sup. In the left dropdown, select Mouse Over. In the next
one, select Swap.
In the final dropdown, select choose picture, then navigate to that picture.

Make sure that both the Mouseoff and Mouseover pics are the same height and
width.

Hope this helps,
