Hoover Button Problems

When I create Hoover buttons, they do not display either in preview or preview on the web. Is there something I should be turning on or off? I have tried taking out the codebase thingy like the instructions say, but that does nothing. HELP!

Hover buttons require Java Virtual Machine which can be
downloaded from http://java.sun.com
However, most people have quit using Hover Buttons
because windows XP / IE6 do not come with JVM installed.

Hover (not spelling) buttons are java, not java script and are not supported
by some versions of IE... so it is best not to use them any more.
Now I'm off to vacuum my carpets {; > )
