Hoover Buttons loading slowly

Hi all,

I added some Hoover buttons and when I preview and go to another page on the
web site,
you can see the hoover buttons being created slowly(I mean you see some gray
quickly then they are there).
Like something is slowing them down. Can someone help.

Hover buttons are java applets, and what
you are seeing is the default "applet background"
that displays while java virtual machine is building
the hover button image.

The slower the machine, the longer it takes to
build the image.

That said, hover buttons are no longer supported in
Windows XP with IE 6 as java virtual machine is not
installed.

For this reason, most folks are no longer using hover buttons.
( java virtual machine and javascript are two entirely different things )
