Hoover buttons not working in IE6

Can someone please tell me as to why the hoover buttons
in a 3 paged frame website would work in earlier broswers
but not when an update to explorer 6 is made?

Hoover is a vacuum cleaner.
Hover buttons require that Java Virtual Machine is installed on a machine in
order to operate. Windows XP and IE6 no longer ship with JVM installed. It
can be downloaded and installed from www.sun.java.com
However, most people have stopped using hover buttons for this reason.
Keep in mind that JVM and javascript are two entirely different things.
javascript is a stand alone scripting language recognized by most browsers
