I need to generate a report for dinner table assignments where the maximum
number of people is 10 but there could be less than 10 people at the table.
I have the database already for this. When I generate the report, I would
like to have the Detail Header such for example "Table No. Name" to line up
in the horizontal report whether there are 10 or less than 10 people at the
table. In other words, fill the empty spaces so that the headers line up.

Can you enter a dummy person for the <10 tables. "Empty Seat". Then you
don't have to alter the report any.

Other than that, I don't understand the question.

I thought of doing what you suggest but it will eatup database space and if
the number of tables increases then it becomes hard to manage.
