Hi
Using Word 2003 on the PC in my work place I can insert a horizontal rule
using the following instructions:
Click where you want to insert the line.
On the Format menu, click Borders and Shading.
Click Horizontal Line.
Click the line that you want to insert.
What these instructions on Word 2003 will actually do is insert a rule
which will traverse the entire width between the margins and if you change
the margins the rule will change width. It is just like a horizontal rule
in HTML.
However following the same instructions for Word 2004 for the Mac all I can
do is insert a horizontal line as a graphic, which goes in as the same
width as the space between the margins but remains that width if I change
the margins.
What I would like is that which is available on the PC. It could be I'm
missing something.
Thank you.
