Hello,
I am running XP Pro, current with everything available from windows
update. Same with Word XP (part of Office XP -- not the latest 03
version, but most recent to that) being current on office update. I
also have installed the latest intellipoint software v5.0 and have my
Msft trackball optical scroll wheel set to autoscroll. I want to be
able to scroll horizontally by clicking the scroll wheel and the
moving the cursor left or right to scroll horizontally (when
horizontal scroll bars are present in Word). This does not seem to
work. When I click the scroll wheel, I only get arrows to scroll up
or down. When I do the same thing in Excel XP I get arrows (and can
scroll) both vertically and horizontally. Same goes for IE and some
of my photo editing packages like msft photo editor. I looked in the
Word help and didn't find anything. Is Word XP just not able to
scroll horizontally using the mouse wheel in the same manner that you
can in Excel? Or, am I missing something?
THx!
