Hosted Application

I have a form with JScript and the old object model that is hosted in a
windows c# application. I can change views with the switchview command, but
would like to know how I can change values of fields in the data source on a
click.

The form uses an html task pane for navigation, and some of the navigation
views are actually the same view, with sections hidden based upon certain
field values. Can this be replicated from C# in the host application?
