Hot Keys on Keyboard

Need help with the Hot keys on my keyboard. i recently
installed Office 2000 from Microsoft and since doing so I
am experiencing problems with my Hot keys on my keyboard
The Outlook Express one does not work at all. I asked a
gent at work and he said when I installed the new software
it sent Outlook Express to a different location, if that
is so how can I get it back to the original location
without un-installing the Office 2000 package or
reinstalling the Hot Keys CD which I have already tried.
Hope you can help me.

You mean a "HotKey" that opens the program?
If so, go to your deesktop, or wherever there is an icon
of OE or any other program you want to be open with
keystrokes. Right-click on the icon; select Properties.
Towards the bottom of the page, there is a box to fill in
with "Shortcut Keys." You must begin with ALT+CTRL. Then
add one character. You can go to the HELP files in each
program to learn lots of hot keys and to glean which
ALT+CTRL ones are available. And to see what other
ALT+CTRLs do. I'm working on a descriptive list of all
the ALT+CTRLs for myself. Let me know if you want that.
In the meantime, the characters available for these "open
my program, please" keyboard commands are: ALT+CTRL+ A, B,
G, H, J, Q, U, V, W, and X.
