Hot to disable indexing

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to disable indexing in Office 2007?

I'm running Office 2007 on Windows XP - I've seen lots of comment
about Vista indexing, and plenty about Outlook 2007. My problems have
nothing to do with Vista and are not limited to Outlook. I want to
disable indexing throughout Office 2007.
