Hotbar without spyware?

I need some program that does the same as Hotbar but without spyware.
(freeware preferable, but not neccesserily)

For those who do not know Hotbar, adding smlieys right from outlook
(must be something simple and easy to use), changing backgrounds,
inserting animated GIF's and other girlish stuff.

I actually tried HotBar, which I quite liked, until found how horrible
type of spyware it is and took me lot of time to get rid of.

Thanks for any advice, I'd really appriciate it...

Well - there is "Incredimail" - it is free, so there are some ads associated
with it. I don't use it myself, but know a few who do and they are happy
with it. And it's also a lot easier to get rid of than Hotbar if you decide
it's not what you want.
