I have recently been renaming a whole load of tasks and then of course
publishing the projects. As I have done this, the log comes up almost
invariably with the error below. My research tells me that this is likely
because there are inactive resources still in the project (although all of
their remaining work has been reduced to zero as standard practise). I found
a description for a hotfix to this problem, but it claims to apply to project
server 2002, and we run 2003. Would I be asking for trouble if I applied the
hotfix, or does anyone know of an alternative solution? Thanks in advance.
