Hotlinks in Outlook do not work

Beginning a week or so ago, any hotlinks in an Outlook message (Office XP
Pro) result in an error message: "hlink.dll is incompatablie with Outlook.
Please reload Outlook". I removed MS Office today and reinstalled it but
that didn't help. I checked that I have the latest version of hlink.dll.
Has this been disabled in Outlook?

I am also having a similar problem! URL and links in my outlook open an IE
window but the url is not passed to IE and nothing opens. Please help
someone.
