Hotmail and Offline error in Outlook 2007 Please help :)

I don't have an exchange account, therefore setup outlook 2007 to use my
hotmail account. When offline, I cannot move or delete anything... I get an
error stating that I cannot do that offline... this seems very odd to me...
Any suggestions would be GREATLY apprecated!!
