Hotmail on Outlook?

P

Peter

Hello,

Thanks for reviewing my question. I used Outlook to get my Hotmail emails
and would like to know why does Outlook ask me from time to time for my user
name and password? I will start up Outlook or sometimes during the day it
comes up with dialog with my user name and password (for hotmail) filled out
and I just press Ok. There is a check box that is unchecked but I check to
save my password but it doesn't seem to make a difference. What gives?

Thanks in Advance!
Peter

Hi Robert,

Thanks for quick reply. First, I am using Outlook 2007 and I am not usuing
the Outlook connector. I did not know that I had to. I thought it was only
if you pay for hotmail. (which I do but why bother?)

I will download it and try it. Before installing, should I remove my
hotmail email account from Outlook?

Many Thanks
Peter

it works with free and paid accounts. no, it won't remove it from the server, unless you delete it in outlook. You'll need to use outlook 2003/2007 to use the connector and they will be turning off http support eventually, so you'll need to use the connector.
