hotmail+outlook

I want to set up my Hotmail account in Outlook so that I
don't have to go to the web interface every time I check
my mail. My problem is that I can't send any mail when I
use Outlook. I know that Hotmail compatibility is very
limited with Outlook Express. Do these same limitations
apply to Outlook? Thanks, Joe
