Hotmail is not POP mail. It uses an HTTP server. You can access Hotmail in
Outlook using the Outlook Connector that's available for download. See the
instructions at the Office download site.

"N95" is supposed to mean something to someone other than you?

Hotmail doesn't use POP3. It is accessed via HTTP and uses WebDAV
scripting to issue its commands. If you want access to Hotmail using
a local email client (and only Outlook or Outlook Express work for
that unless you get some 3rd party proxy) then you'll have to pay them
for it. Freebie accounts don't get free access using local email
clients.

Some users have successfully tried using Microsoft's Outlook Connector
(available from their download site). It is an add-on to Outlook but
only works for versions 2003 and 2007 (you never mentioned which
version of Outlook that you use). It's a crap shoot whether or not it
will work.

Note: You chose to divulge your true AOL e-mail address in your post
to the spambots that roam the newsgroups to harvest e-mail addresses.
Learn to munge your e-mail address (and always munge the domain
*first*) or don't bother using a valid e-mail address (use .invalid as
the top-level domain).
