Hello;
I have outlook 2007 and I cannot may hotmail to work with it. It keeps
giving my e-mail address and password on the computer what do I need to do to
fix this?

Thank you! That worked, but why when I had Outlook 2003 it was not needed??

Hotmail changed the types of connections they allow.

I have the same problem but with a twist. It keeps asking my for user name
and password and then it will tell me to install the outlook connector, which
I have. So why does it keep asking me this if I have done it already?

What version of Outlook? Have you let the Outlook Connectot reinstall?

I have 2007 and yes, I have re installed it at least 3 times.

Perhaps you should start using pop3 server. Here is the link for instructions.

The old technology is destined for some museum as collector's item!!

The connector is not old technology - and it offers benefits not available
with old technology such as POP3 - namely, the ability to access calendar
and contacts along with mail, similar to how Exchange server users can.
