Hotspots/screentip

I have tried the screentip in visio 2003 where it works fine. However, when I
save as webpage the screentip disappears. Does anyone know why, and is it
possible to get the screentip into the webpage?

The main issue is that the screen tip on web pages are what screen readers
for accessibility use to identify objects. To accomodate those users, the
shape text is used.

When you use save as web page with the default settings, a file called
"vml_1.htm" is created for the first page. All of the subsequent pages have
their own equivalent (vml_2.htm, etc). If you edit that file and look at the
bottom, you'll see a "<div id="vmldiv">" section. Inside that section, if
you edit the "origTitle" attribute of each of your shapes to the desired
tooltip, you'll get what you want.
