Hours displayed in outlook 2003 calendar

Is it possible to suppress hours of the day I do not wish to see (or use)?
For example, no matter what "view" I select, I am compelled to "scroll" thru
times of the day that are not used: i.e, midnite thru 5am, even though the
"color" is darker.

I am running OL 2003 on XP.

thx,
Lou
